Contacting the Curator and Keeping in Touch
So who is this curator and why does she think she is qualified to curate? Well, I suppose because who isn’t? And thus why shouldn’t she be? And so here’s a bit about her. She grew up in Ohio as much as one can grow up there but none the less she did. Went to college where she was supposed to find a husband at least that’s why her parents paid all that money but of course she didn’t. Alas. She could figure only one thing to do — go to graduate school and get a PH.D. in Psychology and so she did. After that she had a few jobs, not bad jobs by the way and then she got married and had some more jobs and along the way fortunately and due to diligent planning and occasional arguments had two children and as they were growing up she and her best friend, her sister Ann, began a journey that would end up with the MONA LISA MUSEUM, exactly where you are here and now.
Alas and alack who knows where whatever it is will take each and every one of us. And so we’re here – at the MONA Museum. And having traveled to get there why not stay there at least for a few minutes and enjoy it. Promise? I hope so. You’ll be glad you did.
It’s simple and easy — post a comment at this website or just e-mail the curator (at a soon to be determined email address) and let her know what you think, of course do so only if your message is positive as none of us has time to spend receiving negative messages about free labors of love.
And be sure to keep in touch as other museum items become available. A DVD tour is in process and should be available for purchase in the next month or two.
Amy Guinan is the website designer for the Mona Museum. She was thrilled to work on this projec with the curator and to spread the fun that is the MONA Museum. Feel free to contact Amy at amyguinan@yahoo.com.
