Staying alive requires consumption of some sort or so we’ve been told. This exhibit features two types of ingestion – one completely nutritionally un-necessary but very popular that being drinking alcohol and the other completely necessary that being eating, although not particularly the items featured in the chomp-chomp part of this exhibit.  But all of the above is quite irrelevant, really it is, as this exhibit deals with the frivolous, odd and perhaps even ridiculous features of both drinking and eating, so please don’t follow any of the implications that may seem directed at your intake and instead just enjoy what you see and then go eat or drink or whatever. Of course you may/can (and I never remember which verb is correct where or when) eat and/or drink during this portion of your viewing of the Mona, as well as during any other viewing time of the Mona or any time at all. So let’s get on with it!
